Cheers To My Papa and This Little Slice Of Paradise We Discovered

i would like to greet the most important man in my life, my father, a very happy birthday! 🙂

my father is not perfect.  i don’t think any father is except, of course, the Holy Father.  but he’s my father.  the one person i go to for help whenever i needed some.  the one person who accompanied me for more than two weeks when i was learning how to drive.  and, believe me, that would have tested a saint.

but my father was there for me every step of the way.  and i just know that he will be there for me for as long as he possibly could.

my father.  my hero.  my life.

so, on his special day we decided to treat him out to dinner.  and, as he likes Filipino cuisine, we went to Cafe Juanita.  this is a quaint little restaurant famous for its delicious meals and beautiful ambiance.

the prices are a bit on the expensive side (for me, that is) but it’s still worth it.  we had a sumptuous dinner while our eyes feasted on the restaurant and its decorations.  and now, it’s my turn to make your mouth water and your eyes twinkle as you stare at some of the pictures i took of this little slice of paradise.

I Do Not Want To Miss A Day

in my drive not to miss one day in my posts i am now sitting in a corner and posting this via my phone.

we just had a day’s worth of meetings and now we are gathered in my boss’ house. where we just had a feast. and are now having fun playing kinect and singing videoke.

so, forgive me if my post is utterly useless as i just stole a few minutes, sat in a corner, and tried to muster as much of my thoughts as i possibly could in a very noisy environment, in such a short time.
